Our project teams consist of four committed students from each of Munich's universities, who are convincing in their various fields with above-average achievements.
The project teams are supported in their work by experienced consulting directors from 180DC and mentors from the consulting industry.
We maintain close relationships with universities, management consultancies and organisations in the public interest and offer a platform for profitable Exchange.

Are the consultants paid for their work?
Our project partners always have a non-profit or social character. In order to do justice to our mission to create a social impact, we provide our advice on a voluntary basis. Although we are not remunerated on a monetary basis, we benefit from a strong network, professional training, intensive club life and direct project experience, in which we make the most of ourselves and our fellow human beings.
I don't study economics or a business-related subject. Can I still apply?
Of course. Only half of our consultants have an economic background. Our teams also include engineers, scientists, physicians, computer scientists, and social scientists. Interdisciplinarity is very important to us and is accordingly appreciated and encouraged!
How many hours do your consultants spend on average?
As our projects always go through different phases, which take up different amounts of time, this cannot be said in general terms. Nevertheless, it can be assumed that on average about 10 hours per week and per consultant are spent to make a project a success.
What will happen when my project is finished?
As soon as your first project is finished, your time with us is of course not over! You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills as a project manager within the framework of another consulting project. In addition, you can also get involved internally in the board of directors to help ensure that our association remains what it already is: great.
Do my grades play a role in the Abitur and in my studies?
No, your grades don't matter to us. Of course, we are happy to receive applications that also convince us academically, but your motivation and passion are much more important to us.
Does the consulting service cost my organization anything?
We at 180 Degrees Consulting see ourselves as social consultants - this means that we do not work for monetary incentives. That's why we don't charge daily rates. We only have to pay a small contribution to cover our own costs, but this is out of proportion to the consulting services we provide.
How many consulting hours does such a project consist of?
That's hard to say in general terms. Since our consultants spend an average of 10 hours a week and there is a team of four, we can generally assume that the team will spend around 400 to 500 hours on the project.
My organization is not in Munich. Can I still be advised?
Of course you can! We regularly carry out projects with partners who do not come from the Munich region. We have already successfully completed numerous nationwide and international projects. We are looking forward to your message!
Which topics do you deal with?
In our projects we work together on tailor-made solutions for strategic challenges. We have extensive experience in consulting fields such as financing, marketing, business development and social impact measurement.
When should I contact you?
The sooner the better! It is a good idea to contact us a few months before the start of the semester so that all further steps can be planned and carried out precisely. Finally, it is important for us to define a relevant question and the concrete scope of the project in order to be able to advise you with the greatest success!
